  • GE FANUC JV Dissolution

GE and FANUC has announced that the two companies after 23 years have completed an agreement to dissolve their joint venture.
The final agreement was signed on Dec. 11, 2009, and the businesses previous conducted under the joint venture will now operate independently with immediate effect as GE Intelligent Platforms and FANUC LTD.

GE retains the Software and Services, Embedded Systems and Control Systems businesses globally, as well as services for the Americas CNC portfolio. These businesses are part of GE Intelligent Platforms.

Mika (pronounced meeka) joins in Nov 09 as our new Solutions Manager.
Mika began his career in 1990 as a software engineering graduate developing, implementing and supporting MRP systems for manufacturers in Scandinavia.
Since 1995 he has worked internationally as well as Australia wide predominantly with managing systems implementation and development projects and system life cycle management particularly in the fields of
Service and Asset Maintenance Management.
